Who this covers
PositionBetter is operated by Ashari Tech. Two different people touch this product: the workspace owner, who creates an account and adds customers, and the interviewee, who is sent a link and answers five questions. This page covers both.
What we store
If you create a workspace, we store your email address, a hash of your password (we never store the password itself), your workspace name, and the interview questions you set.
When you add a customer, we store the email address you paste and generate a private interview link for it. When someone completes an interview, we store the full text of that conversation. When you run a scorecard, we store the website copy you paste or the text we fetched from the URL you gave us, along with the score and gaps produced from it.
We do not run analytics, advertising or third-party tracking on this site or in the app. There is exactly one cookie: a signed, HTTP-only session cookie that keeps you logged in for 30 days. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Who processes it
The application, its storage and its written AI run on Cloudflare. Typed interview answers, transcripts and the site copy you submit are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate follow-up questions, extract language themes and produce scorecards. Cloudflare does not use this content to train models.
If an interviewee chooses to answer out loud rather than typing, their microphone audio is streamed from their own browser directly to Google (the Gemini Live API), which transcribes what they say and speaks the interviewer’s replies. That audio is not recorded and not stored — by us or, per Google’s API terms, by them for training. What we keep is the same text transcript a typed interview produces. Answering out loud is always the interviewee’s choice; the typed interview is the default and needs no microphone.
If you give us a URL to score, our server fetches that page. Beyond those two processors we do not send your data anywhere else, and we do not sell it.
If you were sent an interview link
The company that invited you chose to interview you and can read everything you say or write in that chat, attributed to the email address they added. It is not anonymous. You can close the tab at any point — whatever you had already sent is kept, and nothing further is asked. If you use the microphone, your voice goes to Google to be transcribed as you speak; the company reads the text, never a recording, and nobody keeps the audio.
Anyone holding your link can open your interview, so treat it as private. Do not put passwords, payment details or anything you would not want that company to read into the chat.
How long we keep it
Workspace data is kept until you delete it. Settings has a one-click export of everything we hold (JSON, plus a CSV of every transcript) and a delete that removes the account, every customer, every transcript, the analysis and every scorecard. Deleting is immediate and irreversible — interview links stop working the moment it runs, and we keep no copy.
Reaching us
PositionBetter is in beta and does not yet have a published support mailbox. If you are an interviewee, the fastest route is the company that sent you the link — they control the workspace your answers live in. If you are a workspace owner, use the channel you already have with us; a dedicated privacy address will be listed here as soon as it is live.
