Stop guessing your positioning.
Ask your best customers.
PositionBetter interviews your customers, pulls out the language they actually use, and scores your website copy against it — so you can see where your message has drifted from the people paying for it.

An example scorecard. Yours is built from your own interviews.
The old way
- One consultant. Twenty interviews. Every three years.
- A deck that lands, gets admired, and changes nothing.
- Positioning drifts, silently, in between.
With PositionBetter
- Interviews whenever you want them, in your customers’ words.
- Themes and verbatim quotes instead of a slide of adjectives.
- Your live copy scored against what they actually said.
Interviews in. Positioning out.
AI interviewer
A five-minute conversation that asks your five questions, writes a natural follow-up after each answer, and keeps every word. They type or they talk, whichever suits them. You set the questions once.
Language analysis
The phrases customers keep reaching for, clustered into themes — each one carrying the verbatim quotes it came from, so you can check it.
Positioning scorecard
Your website copy scored against that language, with the gaps ranked. See exactly which sentence is doing the drifting.
Three steps.
No workshop.
From a pasted list to scored positioning. No kickoff call, no six-week project.
- 01
Connect your customers
Paste their email addresses, as plain addresses or as “Dana Whitfield <[email protected]>”. Each one gets a private interview link. Send the invitations from here in one click, or copy the links and send them however you already talk to them.
- 02
They answer five questions
About five minutes in the browser — they type, or press one button and answer out loud. The AI acknowledges each answer, writes one natural follow-up, then asks your next question as written.
- 03
Positioning, scored
Themes are pulled from every completed transcript with the quotes behind them. Then your site copy is scored against them — gaps ranked, drift flagged.

FAQs
Will my customers actually talk to an AI?
We are too early to quote you an acceptance rate, and we would rather say that than invent one. What we can tell you: it is five minutes in their browser, not a call — they type, or talk if they would rather — the invite comes from you rather than from us, and they can close the tab at any point, keeping whatever they answered up to then.
Does PositionBetter email my customers for me?
Yes, if you want it to. Add a customer and you can send their invitation from the dashboard, one at a time or to everyone still outstanding; the mail comes from positionbetter.com and says who is asking and that the interviewer is an AI. You can also just copy the link and send it yourself from your own mailbox, which is often the better move for a customer you know well. Whichever you pick, the dashboard shows what was sent and when.
What does the agent actually ask?
Five questions you control, editable any time in settings. They start as a standard product-market-fit set: what problem you were solving, how you would describe us to a friend, what almost stopped you, what is most valuable, and what you would miss. The AI writes one short acknowledgement after each answer, then asks your next question as written.
How is this different from sending a survey?
Surveys collect your words with checkboxes next to them. Interviews collect their words. That’s the raw material positioning is made of.
How many interviews before the scorecard means anything?
It will happily score one interview, and one interview is an anecdote. Treat the early scorecards as a prompt to go and read the transcripts rather than a number to take to a board meeting. Themes get more trustworthy the more completed interviews sit behind them, and each one shows the quotes it came from so you can judge for yourself.
Where does the interview data live?
In your workspace, visible only to people logged into it. Interview text is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate the follow-ups, themes and scorecards; it is not used to train models. Settings has a one-click export of everything — JSON plus a CSV of every transcript — and a delete that really deletes.
Replace the guesswork. Keep the insight.
Add three customers, send them a link, and read what comes back. That is the whole setup, and it is free while we are in beta.
Three customers is enough to start
You do not need a research panel to learn something.
You send the links
The invite comes from you, in the channel they already know.
Every theme shows its quotes
Nothing is asserted that you cannot go and read.
